Andreas Birath was born in 1974 and grew up in Stenungsund on the Swedish west coast. Having spent the better part of his childhood drawing, Andreas made his way into the ad business where he worked as an illustrator and art director. He enrolled at The Florence Academy of Art where he graduated in 2006 with the three-year diploma in painting. He was made assistant instructor during his studies in Florence and is currently Assistant Director of The Florence Academy of Art's branch school near Gothenburg in Mölndal, Sweden.
